Alcan Electrical & Engineering was formed in 1971 from modest beginnings. A small group of electricians, already demonstrating leadership skills in the industry, decided to form a company that combined the work ethics of the past with the innovations of the future. That formula for success has made Alcan Electrical & Engineering a predominant electrical contractor in the State of Alaska with an average sales volume of 30 million dollars a year.

Alcan's experience extends from the North Slope to the Aleutian Islands and from low voltage wiring to high voltage transmission lines. Alcan brings this vast experience to each new project they undertake, providing high quality workmanship at the lowest possible cost.

Alcan Electrical & Engineering, is capable of start-to-finish electrical installations of any kind, size or technical complexity. Utilizing our expertise in linework, inside building electrical construction, telecommunications cabling and telephone equipment installations we can literally take power from the source, spread it through a building, where required, while at the same time provide for all the communication requirements that building may need both now and well into the future. Rather than multiple contractors attempting to coordinate all of the electrical and communication provisions for a building, Alcan has the ability and expertise to handle it all.

Alcan's expertise includes proficiency in overcoming Alaska's logistical challenges. With operations based out of Anchorage and satellite offices in Fairbanks and Juneau, Alcan is the only electrical contractor with this much presence in Alaska.
