The safe completion of each project is the primary goal of Alcan. In addition to ensuring compliance with all Federal and State safety requirements Alcan has developed and maintains a formal Safety Program. This Safety Program is comprehensive in scope, covering both safety and health issues. It is also flexible in nature and can be specifically tailored to meet the safety requirements and concerns of each individual project. Project specific safety meetings are held weekly at construction sites. In addition, management and supervisory safety meetings are held regularly as an integral part of operation project review meetings.
