Chrys Fleming

Chrys Fleming is a lifelong Alaskan whose entire career has been with Alcan Electrical & Engineering, Inc. Chrys’ passion for the electrical field first began with his family, many of whom were in the electrical industry in Alaska owning Alcan Electrical & Engineering. This passion led him to a career track that he embraced from the onset of joining the IBEW apprenticeship program. Having completed the apprenticeship program, he quickly advanced into the role of foreman, leading and mentoring journeyman and new apprentices.

Alcan leadership quickly identified a rising star and Chrys was brought out of the field where he could be trained for a leadership role estimating and managing projects. Soon Chrys was identified as someone who could continue the family legacy and operate Alcan for many years to come. When the opportunity presented itself, Chrys partnered with Jesse Hale and Sage Bringmann to acquire the company, where he now serves as President and continues to Manage some of the largest and most complex electrical projects in the state of Alaska ranging as high as $24M in revenue.

Chrys places special value on the team at Alcan, daily he strives to recognize his team and places company culture as one of his top priorities.
