Chrys Fleming is a lifelong Alaskan with a strong passion for the electrical field, influenced by his family’s history in the industry. He began his career at Alcan Electrical & Engineering, Inc., where he joined the IBEW apprenticeship program and quickly advanced to become a foreman, mentoring and leading fellow journeyman and apprentices.
Recognizing Chrys’ potential, Alcan’s leadership provided him with training and opportunities to move into a leadership role, where he excelled in estimating and managing projects. Eventually, Chrys became a partner with Jesse Hale and Sage Bringmann to acquire the company, and now he proudly serves as President. Under his leadership, Alcan has undertaken some of the largest and most complex electrical projects in Alaska, with revenues reaching up to $24M.
Apart from his professional achievements, Chrys values the close-knit team at Alcan and prioritizes company culture. When he’s not managing projects, he enjoys spending quality time with his family on the ski hills, cheering for his kids’ sports activities, and enjoying summers at the cabin.
Jesse Hale, a lifelong Alaskan hailing from Southcentral Alaska, has dedicated his career to the electrical industry. He worked his way up from the IBEW apprenticeship program to becoming a skilled Journeyman, foreman, and eventually General foreman.
With a thirst for expanding his capabilities and knowledge, Jesse transitioned into the roles of estimator and project manager, successfully overseeing some of the largest electrical projects in Alaska. This led him to become the General Manager of a full-service electrical contractor. Jesse’s career journey brought him to partner with Chrys Fleming and Sage Bringmann, acquiring Alcan Electrical and Engineering, Inc., where he now serves as Vice-President while overseeing major electrical projects.
Throughout his career, Jesse has estimated, and project managed numerous projects, ranging from small to large, with revenues reaching up to $15M in his most recent endeavor. As a co-majority owner of Alcan, he actively engages in day-to-day operations, placing a special emphasis on teamwork and safety.
When not immersed in project management, Jesse finds joy in the great outdoors, indulging in activities like fishing, hunting, and golfing, while also cherishing precious moments with his family.
Sage Bringmann, a lifelong Alaskan with a strong family background in the Electrical industry, grew up under the guidance of her father Skipp and uncle Scott at Alcan. Her early exposure to the company ignited a deep interest, leading her to begin working there at just fourteen years old as a clerical assistant.
Over the years, Sage’s dedication and hard work allowed her to expand her role and delve into various accounting positions, gaining valuable insights into business operations. When the opportunity arose, she joined forces with Chrys Fleming and Jesse Hale to acquire Alcan Electrical and Engineering, Inc., an essential step in continuing the Bringmann family legacy since its founding in 1971. As Chief Administrative Officer, Sage now plays a crucial role in leading the administrative team at Alcan.
Beyond her title, Sage is known for her caring nature and advocacy for the entire Alcan family team, always putting others first. When not taking care of the employees, she enjoys spending cherished moments with her kids, family, and friends. Whether cheering on her son at hockey and baseball as team-mom, fishing on the Kenai with family, or golfing with friends, creating lasting memories with her loved ones is her top priority.
